You can start a shop where people can purchase fabrics and other quilt making supplies, charge people to utilize your quilt making machinery, sell patterns, books and instructions, you could produce quilt making videos, design specialty fabrics for instance tie-dye, batik or embroidered pieces, you could sell quilts that are mass produced by other companies, make and sell your own unique hand or machine-made quilts to established quilt shops or you can sell directly to the customer, you can even make personalized made to order quilts at your customers’ request. And if you want to work from home, you can simply start your quilting business from your kitchen table or spare bedroom. Again, there are so many different ideas for starting a quilt business that you are only limited by your imagination.
